Summary: The game utilizes the ds touch screen well, and asks you thing that even a 7 year old child can understand. Cooking mama for ds is best for casual gamer that are on the rode a lot. You can pick it up and play it any ware. The only big thing that I have a problem with is the sound, play with speakers turned off.
Summary: My 5 year old begged for this game when she saw the commercials. I finaly got it for her for christmas. She loved it and its really fun for me too. You make the items by the directions "mama" gives you. When the meal is complete, you get a grade from 0-100 on how good you followed the recipe. You get a bronze, silver, or gold metal. If you get so many gold metals, you receive new reicpes to cook. Its real cute.
Summary: i bought this for my daughters 6th birthday. i had to make sure it worked before i gave it to her so i tried it owt. it seems like a pretty cool game. it is pretty much as i expected it would be i guess. you gotta chop meat by slicing it back and forth, tenderize by tapping on the screen, make shish ka bobs by memorizing the order they go onto the stick then roll them back and forth in batter and stir them in a bowl then put them on baking pan all with a time limit.
Summary: There is pros and cons with this game. Which first? I'll go with the pros first. This game isn't like many other games. You use the touch screen and the stylus to chop, slice, pan fry, knead, grate, mash, tenderize, mix, peel, carve, roll and more. There are 76 different recipies and when you master the first 15 recipies, you unlock 61 MORE recipies.
Summary: You play as a woman in this fun and exciting cooking game which deals with many real tasks in the world of food. My sister has this game and is absolutely glued to the screen. The only thing I would change is add more recipes or even another save slot. Although the recipes may seem real don't use them in real life. I learned the hard way.
