Summary: This game has recipes from all over the world, from a roast dinner to tirimisu. There is a range of complex and simple recipes for everyone's needs. The idea of speaking to the DS to tell it to 'Continue' etc. is great but not in practicality. It goes back and forwards in steps if there is background noise, such as a kettle or someone else on the phone! Overall, a great idea, but not great for proper use.
Summary: The kids love it, the recipes are set at an ideal level for them (9-12), and the recipes aren't bad either. The shopping list and calculator are great features - they can wander round the supermarket, getting everything they need, and working out how much it cost too. It's NOT a game, don't think it is - it's a cook book in an app, and much more. Really good little gizmo.
Summary: This is entertaining. It helps when you are bored and looking for something else to cook. It guides you through a recipe. The voice activation is great, avoids getting the DS covered in food. Its a useful tool rather than a game.
