My First PROPER Introduction to the Hidden Object Genre!
Feelah the tigress, Amazon
23 April 2012
Summary: My first introduction to hidden object games was a crappy PC game called Monsterquest (yes, based on the Discovery Channel TV show). It wasn't exactly great, which doesn't really surprise me much since they probably had no budget. I was never that interested in hidden object games since I consider myself more of a fan of point-and-click adventure games based on solving problems rather than doing hidden object searches.
Summary: For those of us who enjoy the seek & find games, this is a good one. Unlike most of the others I've played, this one allows saving anytime without having to start a segment from the beginning. It's long enough to keep one occupied to the point of neglecting necessary chores! I gave the overall score 4 stars because the storyline is kind of cheesy.
Summary: I really love hidden object games. I love playing them online and any other way I can. So when I saw this game for the ds, I was excited. The game is just like the pc version, I mean just like it. I remember some of the places to find things from the pc version. But that isn't a bad thing. It helped me along the way. The only fault I see in the game is that the pictures are so small. I had to really strain to find somethings, but it didn't stop me from playing.
Summary: This was the first game I played on my DS when I got it as a present. Generally I like puzzle games, platformers and all sorts of solving mysteries related games. I wasn't familiar with the seek and find object games (not even on PC), so this was a first time for me. Although my opinion might be biased by this particular fondness, I still agree with some of the reviewers on the graphics of this game being a bit to dark and overcrowded.
Summary: I love this game, This is my favorite game, along with Million Heir, but I agree with most of the reviews here-the graphics are definitely too small. I wear reading glasses to read and sew, and of course, when I play my ds. It's hard to spot some of the items in the seek and find. I guess it would be a little easier on the pc game, but I like my ds.
Summary: I got this game for christmas and it was fun! The only cons were having to tap multiple times on items to get them to register. This game is a lot like Millionheir, with more to it. Good story line as well.
Summary: Very cool story (mystery). I learned not to play this game if my eyes were tired - THAT'S how hard it is. For instance, you're looking for an object right? Can't find it and eventually ask for a clue. EVEN WITH THE CLUE YOU STILL CAN'T SEE THE OBJECT. But I want to know where it is for the next time around so I do the random tapping that gets you the time penalty. There was a sparkle so I know I hit it but STILL couldn't see it! Come on now, that's TOO hard, OK?
