Psychic Cate is going to get you!
29 April 2012
Excerpt: "...quite enjoying it, I got Cate West: The Vanishing Files for Christmas. Cate is a mystery novelists with Psychic abilities. She is recruited by the police to work on The Vanishing Files, a collection of cases that they have been unable to solve. There are 15 levels to the game split up into 5 sections. You play the first 4 sections as Cate, and the fifth one as her police colleague Ben. Each level is timed, and you get penalised by 30 ...
Summary: This game becomes repetitive over time. You are doinng the same things over and over. The ending really sucks because it leaves you wondering WTF.... The size of the hidden object area is sooo small you can barely make out what it's showing. I was very disappointed because i wasted money to buy the game now im stuck with it.
Summary: I found many of the pictures very grainy, probably due to the size of the DS. I enjoyed it because unlike most games, it was quite a lot longer I love games with many chapters. That's why it merits a four overall in my book.
Conclusion: I found Cate West to be both engaging and addictive. I even found myself playing it through to the early morning just to complete a stage, (much to the annoyance of my husband). I'd happily recommend to my friends.
Summary: This game is much better on the PC than on the DS, due to the size of the screens. The searchable area on the DS is not "large enough" to view things properly (even when you use the magnifying glass to zoom in). The soundtrack on this game is very choppy (the soundtrack from the PC game may not have been adapted to play correctly on the DS). I have played this game on the PC, and did not experience anything unusual.
The concept and look of the 'Cate West...'is clearly based on 'Millionheir' but without the latter's sense of humour or indeed variety. Each level of the game consists of five main sections: (1) finding objects in scenes, (2) Spotting the difference betwe, Sofa Cinema
Summary: ************ Die Aufgabe ************ Du übernimmst die Rolle von Cate West einer Krimi Autorin die von Albträumen geplagt wird.
