Summary: I love games where you run a hectic restaurant. They only thing i wish you could do is buy a helper like in most cafe games you can download to your phone. Other than that it's fun and i would recommend it.
Summary: I originally played this game as a download on my cell phone and was hopelessly addicted to it. So when I got my Nintendo DS....I thought I'd get the DS version and try it out. It is definitely a keeper. I have now tried Cake Mania 2 and 3 as well....and this one is still a winner. The cake/frosting/icing buttons are nice and big. It is easy to distinguish the shapes on the layer cakes. And my personal FAVORITE thing about this game......it saves your final score!!!!
Summary: This is my first experience with Cake Mania. I've been playing this game now for about a week and I'm finding it so much fun!. I'm finding as the levels go on its becoming more challenging, which I really enjoy rather than finding them all easy. I like the option to keep buying upgrades with the money I earn, that way it makes each shift have a reason and not just a matter of collecting money.
Summary: I purchased this game after getting cake mania 2 for my DS. I enjoyed all the cake mania games online on my pc so was happy to get them for my DS. I think it's worth the money if you enjoy time management games.
Summary: This game is addicting! I've played both the PC version and now the DS. The only complaint I would have is that the whole "room" doesn't show on the screen, so you have to be careful that while the screen is shifting to the "other side of the room" you don't accidently hit a wrong button - that can be frustrating when you're going very fast (that's the ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars overall)! Other than that, it's fun & challenging and VERY addicting!
Summary: I purchased this game for my wife, a casual gamer, because she loved "Cooking Mama" so much. While the game was relatively short (and probably not with much replay value); she did have a good time playing it and I feel like she got $20 of fun and entertainment out of the title.
Summary: Plays exactly like the PC version, just smaller. It is fun and frustrating to lose a level by only a couple of seconds. I am a "Baby Boomer" without the fast reflexes and dexterity of the much younger players, but it is a great change from all the "Brain Age" type games.
Summary: Okay so here's the deal-cake mania is almost NOTHING LIKE cooking mama. period. cooking mama is all about actually making food first hand (stir, fry, mix, set timer, and in this game it's like a click and go in third person (you know click oven, click icing, click costumer, repeat) so if that is what you want cooking mama type cooking this isn't the game for you.
