Summary: I have the previous Cake Mania games for my Nintendo DS, so it was only natural that I would purchase this one as well. This is a very entertaining game! I like that you have the opportunity to reach not only the passing requirement to get to the next level, but also to reach an expert level.
Summary: If you like Cake Mania and Cake Mania 2 then this is a must have! Just a carry on from the previous two games. I think I like Cake Mania 2 the best to be honest, but another X amount of levels to play with is awesome! If you like the likes of Diner Dash, Babysitting Mania, Cooking Mama, this is very similar :) Would really like other sellers to be able to ship to Australia as I had to buy 5 other games on ebay instead of here.
Summary: If you liked the first two Cake Mania games you'll like this one as well. It is basically the same thing but with 3 mini games added per board to get you extra cash. You must play the mini games and win before moving on. They can be challenging but they are kind of fun and it mixes things up a bit so the game isn't so repetitive. Things I didn't like...1)you have to be precise on where you tap the stylus or you'll click on something you didn't mean to click.
Summary: If you like the original PC version of Cake Mania 3, then you should like the DS version. The gameplay has been simplified a little bit for the DS, but for the most part it is the same game. There is plenty of entertainment packed into this game. Lots of hours of game time. This game is a win for both time management and Cake Mania lovers.
Summary: I will totally agree with the other person who reviewed this item and state that it is alittle hard to see some of the items on the screen. Honestly I think that is the case with most games for the Nintendo DS, the screen is alittle small and its hard to see some of the games to play them properly. With that being said I don't think just because its alittle hard to see the items that the games deserves a 2 star rating. I actually like this game for the DS.
Summary: Everything the first reviewer of this game said is right on. Everything is wee small and Jill is constantly confused. You have to be PRECISE with the stylus to get Jill to do what you want. In addition to the cramped controls these are my biggest gripes: - You can only have 2 ovens and 2 frosters, unlike the previous editions where you can have 3 of each. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but I missed that 3rd oven and froster.
