Summary: I played the first Cake Mania game on both my computer and my Nintendo handheld, but I hadn't played the second one yet, so I decided to buy the DS version so I could play on the go with ease.
Summary: I have played the CM series on the computer, am huge fan of it. My daughter has this game and I borrowed it from her instead of buying one, I played through it in one day, easy game to beat.. It's repetitive, not my favourite. But it's a great time killer thats for sure.
Summary: This is a good game, although I do like Diner Dash better. Cake Mania 2 is also a lot better than the first one. The first one was just way too quick. Took me about 2 days (not playing all of the time either.) It took me a lot longer to beat Cake Mania 2. Took me maybe a few weeks to a month.
Summary: Very much the same as the original Cake Mania. This has about double the game play. You really get your money's worth. The graphics look fantastic on the DSi XL. It makes a huge difference in being able to see the second layer on a two layer cake.
Summary: This game has it's pluses and minuses....but overall, I really like this game. THe music is nice...my husband even commented on it as he even stopped playing his PSP long enough to tell me that he liked it too! :) Cake Mania 2 offers 3 games in 1...
Summary: I really enjoy playing this game. The only problem is that when I play it, I do not realize how much time I've spent on it! If you love any type of "time management" games (which I found out is the type of games these are) then you'll love it!
Summary: I really liked Cake Mania 2. It was pretty easy to beat and of course the concept is the same from the first CM but all in all it had some really cool upgrades, awesome new characters and the neat part is that you can start over and go down a different path to have a different outcome with her jobs.
