Summary: This game seemed to me to be thrown together in a hurry, slapped in a box and put onto the shelf as a money-maker with no real thought or even testing put into it. The first level (housing development) works ok. You have to build, upgrade, buy lots and sell houses. The most important part is collecting rent to make the majority of your money. A little boring and repetitive, but not too bad.
Summary: Game was fun at first. There are different neighborhoods that you travel to and each neighborhood has so many levels. in total there were 35 levels and while it was fun and challenging to complete each level they went by very fast. i spent two afternoons playing and had finished the entire career mode. I was excited to play the casual mode because the description said that you build the neighborhoods however you want but thats not really how it works.
Summary: I already own every build-alot version there is on the PC, but to be able to carry it with you! Oh lord, thats too cool! Almost have most of the game finished but am going back through to tighten my scores. The game is almost a carbon copy of the PC versions, just smaller scale and less to worry about. The time limits are still there and trying to beat them are just as hard but still well worth the price paid.
Summary: This game is a lot of fun to me (I'm 27), and I really enjoy beating each level. I am almost to the end of 'career mode' and will be sad when I've completed them all! Fortunately there is a 'casual mode' too where the goal is only to make money at your own leisurely pace. Overall, this game is very entertaining!
Summary: I really enjoyed playing this game it is really challenging and every level seems to get harder. Once you get into the game it is really hard to put it down shame their is only 35 levels. If you like games where every level is different then this game is not for you.
Summary: 1st day I got it I couldn't put it down, really enjoyed it, pretty much addicted to it but am finding the levels a bit harder now. Not a problem though because there is a freeplay type section too with levels you do that aren't in a restricted time, you just see how quickly you can do the level. For a cheap game I've never heard of I am not disappointed by it and would recommend it to anyone who likes role play type games.
Summary: this is brilliant - i really like this - i play it every day - cant leave it alone - only problem is i am already on level 7 of 8 and although the levels get harder, i will be really disappointed when i eventually finish it - however, i will start it over again - well worth it
Summary: I thought this game actually let u design the houses but all u do is choose what building goes where and make sure u have enough money for it. It was ok for the first few days but now its lying at the bottom of a drawer.
