Great for Greezers

Amazon Customer "Four Corners RJ", Amazon
6 February 2010
  • Summary: This product may have been a mistake to get as my two daughters (over 30) play it when ever possible. It has been fun for them and a challenge for all my girls I get a kick out of watching them.

Frustrating

Summer D. Wood "amazon fanatic", Amazon
2 February 2010
  • Summary: First of all I am the last thing you'd describe as a gamer. I remember playing this game on the original Nintendo and enjoying it and that is why I bought it for the DS. I don't know what is wrong with me but I find it incredibly frustrating and it annoys me and I quit playing quickly. I haven't got past the second level so I can't say that much for the entire game but from what I've seen it is ok just not as easy as I remember it being.

so so

I knowJack, Amazon

  • Summary: I hate to give it only 3 stars but I really didn't care for this game. My husband and I loved the original version so I was really excited to get this game for my DS Lite. I really didn't like it. You have to change the color of your little guy to catch the matching bubble. A real pain and certainly did not add to the fun. I personally did not like this game.

  • Summary: This game has the flavor of old school. It is very frustrating, but it makes you want to try one more time to complete something. I like it alot!

  • Summary: this game is very addictive, in fact in our house we have three generations playing this one game. It has somthing for everyone, the only complaint I have is you can not save your game, so you have to start from the beginning each time.

You cannot save your game!

Katie "kak513", Amazon
4 August 2008
  • Summary: This game is fun, and not too dissimilar from the original 1986 version, save for new colorful backgrounds and color-switching dinos. There are 100 levels, with a boss at every 10th level. The controls aren't quite sensitive enough, and you'll find youself committing many suicides until you figure out the controls. However, I cannot recommend this game as there is ABSOLUTELY NO SAVE mechanism - this is frustrating beyond belief.

An Old Classic with a Refreshing Take ...

Abram B, Amazon
3 June 2008
  • Summary: Bubble Bobble: Double Shot is one of the newer entries to the Bubble Bobble/Puzzle Bobble games starring the two cute dragons: Bob and Bub. In this game, you can now play as Bubu, the cousin of Bob and Bub as they venture forth in search for great treasures. There are two types of people that would be playing this game: those that have played the original, 100 level Bubble Bobble originally in NES (and also ported to other platforms), and those that have yet to do so.

Bit of a Button Masher

E. A. Montgomery, Amazon
1 April 2008
  • Summary: Takes a classic and makes it annoying. The game itself might not cause the same reaction in another player, but as a fan of the original NES Bubble Bobble I've updated to the newest players as the titles come out. I was hoping that Double Shot would just offer new boards and puzzles, but they've updated the game to be more difficult and require a bit of additional strategy.

Very Addictive!

  • Conclusion: Similar to the original Bubble Bobble although I found some of the levels quite difficult. I would recommend this for fans of Bubble Bobble.

User Review

When I was younger my favourite game to play on my Commodore 64 was Bubble Bobble so I was very excited to try this game! It is pretty much exactly the same as the original but is missing some of the things that made the original so addictive. I do like t, Sofa Cinema
