Conclusion: one of the best point and click games ever and in my top 10 games of all time i first played it on the pc and playing it again was a real joy how ever on completing the game the ending if a real disappointment
Conclusion: I first played shadow of the templar's many years ago on the Playstation One when I was around four, of course I didn't have a clue. But I later played it and it became one of my most favourite games that I grew up with.
Conclusion: This game is one of the reasons I bought myself a dsi, very well put together game with great dialogue and puzzles. Looks great and the Characters are nice to play. Played these Broken sword games on the PC and the ds handels the game really well. One of the best games on the ds, dsi system.
Conclusion: Was hooked all the way through. Tasks aren't immediately obvious, and often have to revisit scenes to gain new information. I wasn't looking to buy this game initially but got it on a two for one deal.
Conclusion: I have loved the point and click genre of games ever since I played the Monkey Island games on the PC as a kid, I unfortunately never played the original Broken Sword game which is a shame and if this game is anything to go by I missed out. The Stylus works brilliantly in this game the easy to use control system means you can concentrate on the fun bits like solving the puzzles.
Conclusion: This game is right up my street and kept me engrossed for hours on end. In fact, one night I picked it up at 10.30 pm and was still playing it at 5.00 am! Lucky for me I had no work next day! I really wish they would make more of this genre. I love trying to solve clues and work out as to what to do next or where to find information. The storyline was also very captivating. Highly recommended!
Excerpt: "...through the game. The storyline behind Broken Sword The shadow of the Templars focuses around a murder of one of the richest men in Paris. On first glance you are led to believe it could be a simple murder, but of course it wouldn't be to create a complex storyline for the game. George Stobbart is our main character in this game. George is an American on holiday in Paris where the game is set. Aided by a French journalist, Nico, the pair takes it ...
Summary: I first played this game on the original Playstation about ten years ago and it always stuck with me. it deserves its classic status as the story, characters and artwork are top notch. The game has been updated for DS with a few new scenes and is well worth a second play through, particularly if you have forgotten parts of the story. For everyone else, I cannot recommend this highly enough. The plot is better than most books and films and will entrap you for hours.
