The Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters is an NDS game developed and published by Nintendo and is part of the popular Brain Age series which offers players a mix of new and familiar exercises, all with an artistic focus. The game tests player's spelling in Word Attack, knowledge in literary classics in Reading Aloud and tune musical skills in Piano Player. The game features a new Themes mode that challenges users in drawing, photography and voice acting and lets them share their creativity with friends and family. The game has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone.

Nintendo's release the second title in the Brain Age Express series: Brain Age Express: Arts and Letter and is a download-only Brain Age title which contains a mixture games from the original from Brain Age and Brain Age 2, as well as content that is tailored to the DSi. The game features Brain Age Express: Math which focuses on the numbers aspect of training the brain, Art and Letters with words and pictures, words spelling that rotate on screen, book passage reading and picking from an assortment of photos as they flash on the display. The challenges are unlocked over the course of several days as it revolves around daily play, based on the internal clock of the system, encouraging users to check back regularly to open up some newer treats. The game also includes some older games with improved technology, improved handwriting recognition, incorporation of the camera for an additional set of visual challenges that will challenge players to act out a scenario and take a photo in that pose. These photos will show up in a “post card” that can be sent to an internal memory, that allows gamers to post it to Facebook using the new updated software.
