Summary: Bomberman. The crazy little dude who drops bombs. Hmmm, that just doesn't sound right these days... In 2005, the long running Bomberman series was introduced to the DS for the first time. He's come a long way since his first outing in 1983, but can it still hold the fun factor 22 years later. Story: You take the reigns as Bomberman and in his fight against the bad guys.
Pros: Fun puzzle game, nice visuals and old vibe audio
Summary: This is a modern day update of the classic video game Bomberman. It is very nostalgic & tries to stick to what made the game what it was. You play as Bomberman. A character capable of leaving bombs behind himself when he walks. You play the game from levels viewed top down. The aim of the game is to kill any other peson on the level by using the bombs to blow them up. There are different types of bombs like timer or proximity.
Pros: Great Multiplayer. Single Card Multiplayer action. Easy to get to grips with
Cons: Single player not very good. No online mode. Basic Sounds & graphics.
Summary: Bomberman DS is very much the same as the game has been on previous consoles. The basic idea of the game is that you are Bomberman who is trying to find the exit to each maze-like level. Blocks are in your way and you have to blow them up whilst making sure that you are well out of the way of your bombs!
Pros: Really fun to play with friends
Cons: The single player game is a bit disappointing
Conclusion: £9.99 is an excellent price for a ds game. Although the single player for this game is fairly boring and repetitive it is brought up for me to a 4 star of its amazing multiplayer with lots of maps and different game types with up to 8 people who even don't need to own the game. A fair Buy.
Conclusion: Bomberman is a great classic game and one that will keep you hooked for hours. However i feel those of you who have played the original bomberman will be dissapointed with the as i feel the newer versions are not a good and exciting. If you played the original, don't play this.
Summary: ok.. games nice enough... usual thing if you've played the snes etc versions.. multi player BUT not over wi-fi like mario kart, hence the 3 stars for that and the fact you have to manually touch the screen for the add on's.. It's good if you have friends who also have DS's or for old school gamers. alas I don't know anyone who owns a ds, so not doing much multi player games.
