Summary: Bought this for my fiend's daughter as a birthday gift. She had many animal related games for her DS but she loved this one and told me it was her favorite. I haven't played it myself but she gave it a good review.
Summary: This is the same as the other "Cradle..." games with a different theme and symbols. I find the AI artificially makes the game harder by not giving you the more powerful items until you have failed a level 5+ times, which is the frustrating part. Overall still fun but with 100 levels, I didn't think it is necessary to make the game overly challenging.
Summary: I really like Match 3 games and this one is very good. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but 3 times I completed the game only to find out that I hadn't earned enough supplies to finish all the buildings. I am usually very tenacious, but even I have said enough! Otherwise it is a pretty straight foreward Match 3. There are not any annoying "extra" puzzles to get through.
Summary: I love the Jewel Master games and this is a good value. It is not very difficult and I am hoping that increases as the game continues. It does have some unique features like arrows and boxes in the game that will whip out rows, but I still prefer the Cradle of Rome over this game.
Summary: This was for my wife, age 56. As a late bloomer with respect to basic computer gaming, she says it's definitely fun but she likes the original Bejewelled better but it's not available for the DS at this time. With reespect to hardware, the advantage of the DS over the version on her laptop is that the DS operates silently so her gaming addiction doesn't keep the old man (me) awake!
