Honestly I'm not really into all the manga-nonsense and also the adventurous life of the rusty main character Ichigo Kurosaki can't interest me one bit. What I do know is that the DS finally has a fight game it can be proud of; good visuals and sound, accessible but at the same time deep gameplay, a lot of content and a reasonable multiplayer. In short: food for anyone longing for a portable fight. Read more
From the same talent that brought us Ikaruga, Sin & Punishment and Wario World comes Bleach: The Blade of Fate for Nintendo DS. Bleach is a 2D fighter well suited to the handheld and ticks all the right boxes for both a solid fighter and faithful game conversion. Treasure have done an outstanding job with the Bleach license. Some minor game imperfections and faulty online play do not diminish the quality time this game can provide. Check out our review. Read more

Overall, I can't stress how much I was really surprised by this game. Though I am an avid anime fan, I really don't expect too much from anime games, and I'm only wowed by one very occasionally. But this game exceeded all expectations I had, not only for an anime game but for any handheld title. It's multitude of modes coupled with the great gameplay and ultra-immersive online modes really make this one stand out from the crowd! Read more

is one of Japan's most popular anime and manga series, and has been a marketing miracle with previous game releases on PSP, Playstation 2, Gamecube, and Game Boy Advance. was the series debut on the Nintendo DS. The game was released earlier this year only in Japan, and following release it has quickly become one of the most imported DS titles to date. Bleach: The Blade of Fate is a game that could be stripped of its anime roots and still be a great fighter. Whether you're a fan of the series or of the genre (or both!) you're in for a treat. The solid combat system is decorated with tons of playable characters, modes and unlockables as well as gorgeous visuals and authentic audio, with very little in the way of noticeable flaws. Very good game. A bit of a redundant fighting game, but if you like Mortal Kombat or other tournament fighters, then this is for you. It has a wide variety of game types and characters to choose from. And I mean VERY wide. The only big Bleach characters unavailable would be Kisuke and the people in his shop, and maybe Kukaku, though they both make appearances. Very good game! Read more or see product
Bottom line? Bleach puts a bad taste in my mouth. The name itself describes what it is like. It is like drinking bleach. The burning sensation your throat expiriences cannot be described in words. I have played the campaign 16 times and it is still boring. No one buy this game...please. Maybe it will encourage the developers to make a good game like Bleach: Lost Wolf Moon. Japan needs some spect. And this turrible game gives none. Read more
I'm a Bleach fan, and I generally don't like fighting games, but I LOVE this game. Buy it if you like Bleach and hate fighters, or buy it if you hate Bleach and love fighters. And if you love both, this will be your favorite game for the DS. Read more

Hi and welcome to my review of Bleach: Blade of Fate for the Nintendo DS gaming system. When I travelled outside of my house with some friends to go to the Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex, UK I felt that I was on a mission to attain a brilliant fighting game to add to my collection. So I visited the GAME store and purchased Bleach Blade of Fate for a respectable 24.99 when it was fresh and so whilst on my way home playing it I began to cast my decision on how it plays:...
