Excerpt: I love strategy RPGs, but I can honestly say I've never been much of a Bleach enthusiast. It's never been one of those animes or mangas that's grabbed my attention, and so my only real knowledge of the series comes in passing whether it is through anime conventions or friends. While I was trapped in the waves of people, my boyfriend pointed out to me that Sega had a demo for Bleach: 3rd Phantom , so, on his suggestion, I decided to try and test the game out for myself.
Conclusion: Though this game will certainly please longtime fans of the franchise with it's original story, the lackluster RPG format relegates this title to the "fans only" designation. If you only care about the story, than Bleach: The 3rd Phantom is an adequate title. If you are expecting gameplay akin to the first two entries, however, you will surely be disappointed.
Excerpt: generates its joy by including a wide range of characters, showing them in positions you've never seen, and ultimately letting you focus solely on your favorites. In that regard, this otherwise mediocre game is a resounding success.
Conclusion: What can I say about this game? The story is just way too much that I gave up at one point. The battle system is really nice and a joyful experience to those who love a good strategy role-playing game. Still when you account the long, boring story and short battles, the game might be best purchased at a lower price than most retailers are asking for. Rating Breakdown Gameplay: 5.50 out of 10 + Easy to play strategy role-playing game that is fun.
