Big Bang Mini (DS) Review

411mania.com
4 September 2009
  • Summary: In simple terms, the game is fun, addictive and deep. Plus when you take into account the different game modes and essentially a free alarm clock at only $19.99, it’s not just a bargain price, it’s a steal! Save for maybe Orange Box from Valve, I haven’t seen a game with this much content in one little package. Pull out that $20 bill out of your wallet and head to the store right now (and maybe another buck or two for tax) – you won’t regret it!

Big Bang Mini

Game Vortex
10 March 2009
  • Excerpt: What makes a game casual? What makes a game hardcore? These are some of the questions that have lately been circulating throughout the ever-evolving gaming community. Southpeak Interactive and Arkedo answer these questions by asking a better one: if the game is fun, then who cares? Big Bang Mini is the vehicle for this argument and everyone should hop on.

Big Bang Mini

Defunct Games
10 March 2009
  • Summary: Who knew a game about fireworks would be one of the first must-own games of 2009? Big Bang Mini may have a stupid name, but that doesn't change the fact that it's one of the best shooters to come out in the last ten years. With amazing graphics and a control scheme you've never seen before, this $20 DS game is a no brainer! Tweet This product was submitted by the publisher for review. As a rule, Defunct Games does not review games we spent money on.

Big Bang Mini Review

  • Excerpt: Southpeak Interactive's new Nintendo DS shooter is an unexpected treat that's super addictive in both its quick-paced play and charming visual style. Now, before you gun nuts go running for your DS's, you should know Big Bang Mini is not a "shooter" in the same vein of the handheld's recent FPS Moon or even a mindless arcadey kill-fest like Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ .

Tron 2.0 Review

AtomicGamer
10 September 2003
  • Excerpt: The idea of a new Tron game that acts as a sequel to the cult 80s movie is just plain cool. Of course, plenty of movie-derived games wind up terrible in practice, but luckily, Monolith has done a great job with Tron 2.0. The game delivers a great Tron atmosphere, excellent visuals, and lots of light cycles & disc throwing. The newest version of LithTech's Triton engine is used in Tron 2.0, and the game looks just plain wonderful.

Big Bang Mini Review (DS)

Yet Another Review Site
28 April 2009
  • Excerpt: The first really good shooter for the DS of 2009 At first glance, you would be forgiven for writing this of as another generic shooter trying to copy the looks of Geometry Wars. The bright, neon graphics, the stylish psychedelic explosions, it is all there. Well you would be so wrong.
  • Pros: Very simple, looks gorgeous, sounds great, retro feel, FUN!!
  • Cons: Very simple

  • Conclusion: Wahnsinn!
  • Cons: Magerer Zweispielermodus

Test: Big Bang Mini

nintendo front
6 May 2009
  • Pros: wunderschöne Grafik, stimmiger Sound, viele Modi, jede Menge Levels, intuitive Steuerung
  • Cons: könnte weiteren Mehrspieler-Content vertragen
