Summary: The first racing game available for the Nintendo DS, Asphalt: Urban GT is a fun arcade-style racing game that's unfortunately marred by some really annoying flaws. Detailed review follows quick summary.
Excerpt: Introduction: This is now my second review of a DS racing game, the racing genre is one of my favourite types of games and this game does This game does a really good job of showing what the DS was capable of doing. It has lots of available cars for purchase, good controls, and plenty of levels.
Pros: Brilliant Graphics, Easy and Fun
Cons: The sounds of the engines, and lack of dual screen activity
Excerpt: I received this game as a gift, at first the game was hard to play, but after an hour of playing, I got the hang of it. I enjoyed the arcade style racing and the ability to buy and sell cars and purchase upgrades in evolution mode.
Excerpt: Asphalt Urban GT is the typical arcade racer for your DS. Nothing special here. No pointless touch screen car handling (for the better), a standard map, and virtually everything can be done with the D-Pad and buttons. But hey, that doesn't mean to say it's a bad game!
Pros: Best Driving game on DS at the moment .
Cons: Even though it's the best racer on DS at the moment, still doesn't mean this game is very good .
is has the speed and graphics but what about the controll

Summary: asphalt urban follows in the footsteaps of games like burnout this has dispensed with traditions like avoiding danger.instead you are incouraged to drive on the wrong side and squeeze past lorries.this builds up your boost meter and then pressing the A button sends your car careering along the...
Summary: some real mixed reactions to this title here, I feel that although it's certainly not excellent it's far from terrible as well. For people moaning about the lack of touch screen usage, I've been trying to consider how the DS stylus could actually have been used effectively in a driving game such as...
Summary: This is the first title I've looked at on the DS, it's quite good as a pick up and play arcade racer. It's not deep, complex or particularly satisfying, but the handling, gameplay, looks and challenge are ok.
Summary: Asphalt urban is a pretty average game for the DS, the graphics are well, not far off from GBA standard, I dont see what the gripe is about the handling, its fine. Its very similiar to gran turismo, power slides are the best way to turn and braking is a must.
Excerpt: Asphalt looked pretty good when it was released earlier on the N-Gage, but it looks even better on the larger DS screen, and it sports a much, much better frame rate. The 30 licensed cars featured in the game capture the look of their real-world counterparts quite accurately, even if they do tend to...
