Summary: Title says it all - Anno 1701 realy IS the best strategy game you can get on your Nintendo DS. Lovely graphics, excellent music, very comfortable interface - all this makes game worth to buy right now. There is some basics you'd need to learn, but after several minutes - you are all in this. Game are very cool.

Summary: Anno Domini 1701 asks you to build a civilization in the New World from scratch. You have to explore the region, choose the right locations to settle and gradually build up from humble settlements to sophisticated cities. All the while you have to make sure you are meeting your people's needs.
Pros: Great graphics, complex strategy and keeps you on your toes
Cons: Can be very hard to keep on top of what's going on!
Summary: This is a very involved game, and seemed to me quite complex. If you like games on the PC such as Civilisation etc, then it probably would appeal more. I found the icons to be small and hard to distinguish, and I kept failing the same challenge, and then I stopped caring. It does seem well put together and the graphics are lovely and detailed, but still very small on the screen.
