Animal Crossing: Wild World is a life simulation video game published and developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. The game has single-player/multi-player/online player capabilities and has a CERO: A / ESRB: E / OFLC: G / PEGI: 3+ / USK: Unrestricted rating. The main objective of Animal Crossing: Wild World is to pay the mortgage of the player’s house to Tom Nook, a shop owner. The player can engage in a variety of tasks, such as interacting with villagers, planting flowers and collecting items such as furniture, clothes and fish. All of the player’s characters share the same house and work together to pay off the mortgage, instead of each having their own house.

Features

In Animal Crossing: Wild World, the touchscreen is used for menu navigation and interacting with the surrounding area, including movement, using tools, talking to other villagers, entering buildings and picking up items. The dual screens are used to display the town environment on the touch screen and the sky on the top screen simultaneously. Players and up to three friends can play in the same village and interact in real time - either through wireless LAN or over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Animal Crossing: Wild World is played in real-time. The environment changes based on the time of day and the season. The game also has its own yearly holidays and other events. Unlike other Animal Crossing games, it does not include some real-world holidays such as Christmas or Halloween. However, it does have a New Year’s countdown from December 31 until the new year. This game also features three-dimensional 3D space. Players can visit other players’ towns by exchanging "friend codes" and connecting with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
