Summary: Not exactly an action packed game and the running is pretty bad but if you're a fan of the series and sad about Russian Roulette I'd pay 5 bucks to spend a few hours straining your thumbs and laughing at how camp this game is.
Summary: See I originally bought this game in GBA because I got the first book in the Alex Rider series and really liked the book so then I decided to try out the Alex Rider game in the DS format and just really liked the game better in DS format and gave my dad the GBA version. The DS version of Alex Rider: Stormbreaker will blow your mind away with the graphic's on this game, plus challenging and follow's the book series and movie to a tee. I love this game.
Excerpt: This game is based on the book and movie of Alex Rider Stormbreaker and available to play on the Nintendo DS. However, I have to say this is nothing like what I expected. I don't think its a terrible game but it isn't what many gamer's would expect either. Firstly, this has a lot of different parts to the game and user's get to drive, explore the various grounds, fight enemies and do a lot more.
Alex Rider - Stormbreaker on DS - poor fighting game
3 July 2009
Excerpt: This review is for the game Alex Rider - Stormbreaker for the Nintendo DS, developed by Altron and published by THQ. The game is an arcade type game with lots of different kinds of game play, from driving to snooker and from fighting to exploring. Primarily though the aim is to fight your way through the levels with numerous sub games. In terms of difficulty, the game is too easy, and I say that as someone who doesn’t necessarily find games simple to complete.
Pros: Extra unlockable content, snooker sub - game
Cons: A very poor game, poor value and poor execution
Excerpt: Alex rider: storm breaker for DS was a dismal failure, throughout the entire game Alex is only two moves punch and kick. The gameplay is incredibly short; I alongside most decent gamers completed this within an hour. Once you have completed the game your only option is to repeat the last two levels or turn off the game completely lacks depth and only consists of 'beating up the bad guys'.
