Review: Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth (Nintendo DS)
11 May 2010
Summary: Ace Attorney Investigations manages to pull off some changes while retaining elements that make the series so enjoyable. The cases were linked together well, and none of them felt like filler like some of the cases in previous games did. Edgeworth proved to be a compelling protagonist, and reading his inner thoughts was even if he was a bit heavy handed in the hinting at times.

Excerpt: The quirky Ace Attorney courtroom series may star a young lawyer by the name of Phoenix Wright, but it didn’t take long for prosecutor Miles Edgeworth to become a fan favorite. After being in the defense lawyer’s shadow for years, Edgeworth has finally broken out in his own game, a spin-off of the core Ace Attorney series.

Excerpt: Can you say "five games within the span of five years"? Capcom and their Ace Attorney franchise certainly can, having managed to squeeze out just that amount in the west since 2005, a feat that only becomes more abnormal when you consider that it’s but a courtroom drama series that was never supposed to see the light of day outside of Japan. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is indeed that fifth effort being released, and even if you only consider yourself a...
