Summary: I'm a big fan of match three games, especially when there's a story behind it. This one was somewhat disappointing. I managed to finish the game in one sitting. I do like the additions they made, like when clearing a board you pick squares on the construction zone and either just "build" or collect a "power up" for lack of a better term. You can only use one type of power up at a time and must choose it before you start another board.
Summary: This game was very disappointing. The original 7 Wonders game was addictive and challenging. I would sometimes have to do a level ten or more times before I could finish it. This game however, is not challenging which to me means not nearly as enjoyable. It is just match 3, match 3, match 3........ it took me less than one day to finish the game, while still working full time and caring for my family.
Summary: First, it took forever to actually come out with. Second, its not very fun compared to 7 wonders. Third, a few days after we finally purchased it, the price was reduced and that will keep me from ever pre-ordering or quickly purchacing a game in the future.
Summary: I was excited for 7 Wonders II. Once it was finally released, I found it to be a huge disappointment! I beat it in less than 3 hours. I've gone back and replayed it, thinking I missed something...nope. Save your $$.
Summary: I "bought" this game June 1st 2009. I did not get it until the middle of Agust 2010. A year after I placed my order, I got it. What a disappointment. I like the graphics and that was about it. On the first one you can keep playing as long as you do not loose all your lives. On the new one, I got up to 6 extra lives and when I accomplished all the challanges, it "started over" and than gave me only 3 lives again.
Summary: I loved 7 Wonders so I was really excited when 7 Wonders 2 came out. I ordered it as soon as it was available for pre-order, then had a very long wait before it was finally released. I expected it to be at least as good as 7 Wonders, but I am very disappointed in this game. Graphics are okay, but the game play is not smooth. Permanent freeze doesn't work, at least not for me. In the end I felt like the workers, running around wondering where the action was.
Summary: My friends and I were so excited to get 7 Wonders II since we pre-ordered 18 months ago. We love playing the first game and were expecting this game to be more challenging. We we all disappointed when we played the new game. I agree that the game took a step backward. The graphics are good and the bonuses are ok but, not really necessary. Will probably trade this game in and continue to play 7 Wonders.
Summary: While I enjoyed the first DS game, this one was way too short as I had finished it in two hours on a sunday. The graphics are good and the basic gameplay is unchanged from the first one with a few added twists. The bottom line is the game is too short with little replay value.
