Summary: It is a perfect dryer for every day household cleaning. I just feel like I have to dust more frequently. The repair man who tried to fix my old dryer told me to buy american without a lot of bells and whistles because it is much cheaper to fix, should something go wrong.
Summary: For an inexpensive model, this dryer has done an excellent job. It has many settings, though I miss a 15-minute cycle (30 minutes is minimum) and some heat setting aren't available on certain clothes settings (e.g., "high" on "casual") and there are no heat settings on the timed settings. Sometimes clothes are a little damp, but what else is new? Were it not for Sears lousy customer service on another product, I've I'd give it five stars.
Summary: Just replaced an 11 year old Whirlpool dryer. Never had any problems but I couldn't pass up the deal on the washer/dryer pair. Great updates with the lighted interior and improved temp/time controls.
Pros: Adjustable Temperature, Easy To Use, Energy Efficient, Large Capacity, Quiet
Summary: I hate this dryer, and wish I'd spent more $$ for a better one. My complaints: The timer buzzes for **less than a second** when cycle is finished. I need to carry around a manual timer to alert me to check to see if the time is up. But even this doesn't work because when I set it for, say, 45 minutes, the dryer stops after about 30 minutes. I am never sure when the time will be up, so my clothes sit & wrinkle.
