Excerpt: We moved into a new home about 9 months ago. When we did, we had to buy all new appliances for our new home, including a washer and dryer. The salesman we spoke to recommended thisLG Dryer and that is the one we ended up choosing after listening to him and also doing our own research. We have been very happy with it so far. It is pretty quiet and efficient as long as you don't put HUGE loads in there to dry.
Summary: After washing your clothes in the WM2501 washer, it comes out barely wet. This dryer finishes the job. Dry Sensor accurately stops or increase the timer so your clothes come out dry. Steam fresh feature gives your clothes that fresh steam clean smell from professional dry cleaning. I haven't figured out a way to use the rack with this mode so that the clothes can lay there instead of spinning in the drum.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: We love our LG dryer. It is very easy to use the basic features though we haven't figured how to use the dryer rack without it tumbling. The instruction book isn't great but the dryer is so intuitive, it isn't necessary for most functions.
Summary: Purchased dryer, matching washer and pedestals this 10th time around. It has proven a great choice so far--almost a year of constant use. My only complaint is that at the end of a cycle of hot clothes which I quickly remove and reload, the dryer is too hot to restart. I am forced to leave the dryer door open and then remember to go back to the laundry room and restart the next drying cycle.
