Summary: I purchased this item from Sears. Neither the sales rep nor I knew it was ventless. Upon 3rd or 4th use it started leaking water on the floor. Because it is ventless, water recondenses. It is supposed to collect in a pan for you to dump. Once lint collects inside, the system gets plugged and water goes all over. Even constant cleaning doesn't stop the leak. The technology is poorly designed. It is not ready for market!! Some local stores are discontinuing this model.
Summary: Purchased this dryer in May of 2013 and had worked fine until today when it broke down: According to customer serevice rep they have to send a service to replace a part. I bought the LG refrigerator also through Amazon in August 2013. At this point we are awaiting outcome of the third repair. So far they needed to replace three parts. Does LG stand for Lousy Gear?
