Rube Goldberg machine

nashVegas, AJ Madison
18 August 2013
  • Summary: For those who don't know of Rube Goldberg, he drew famous cartoons of machines that did simple tasks in the most complicated way possible. Rube has nothing on Fisher Paykel's top loading dryer featuring an over complicated mechanism that, when it fails (and it will soon due to a planned obsolescence logic board) entombs your wet clothes. Mine is headed to the land fill .. good riddance.

Disappointed

Darren, AJ Madison
20 January 2013
  • Summary: Okay dryer. I was not thrilled with the dryer from day 1. All settings greater than delicate dried too hot, so everything including towels I dried on the delicate setting. Some clothes came out with small holes in them were they had been scorched. Also, there was no timer for those fine garmets I just wanted to get a tinge of moisture out of before hanging to dry.

No Heat

Diez513, AJ Madison
7 July 2012
  • Summary: We bought the set and at first loved it. The washer is fantastic, and the dryer is - WHEN IT ACTUALLY WORKS. There is a flaw somewhere that makes it over heat and burn out the elements. In the first 6 months we had at 4-5 service calls. Fisher & Paykel's fix, duct tape to go around the interior ducts to keep the heat from bleeding into the housing. Yeah, that worked for a while, but now after 2 1/2 years we've finally had to replace it.

loving it

  • Summary: We bought the Fisher&Paykel washer first then a week later we went back and got this dryer. It operates differently from any we have seen, but we are very satified. Have had it just over 6 months without any problems. The reversing drum leaves sheets a lot better than dryers we have known. They dry and do not tie in knots.

Not disappointed!!!

Rosepetal, AJ Madison

  • Summary: Even though my husband and I looked for a front loading washer and dryer we actually didn't have the room so we chose this brand. I was hesitant at first because I had never heard of the brand before. After only using the dryer for a few days I fell in love with it. It has so many options, the top loading for the dryer is so easy to access clothes and it works great.. I love it and am pleased with the way it works..
