Summary: I'm a car audio technician, so i've used this drill pretty much everyday for the past month or so, and so far I am very happy with this purchase. Before buying this drill, i wasn't sure really what to expect... Panasonic makes drills?
Summary: Best cordless drill I have had. Also have the saw combo kit. Better than the 15.6 much lighter. Only problem is it wont work at temperatures below 25f. So if outside in winter buy non lithium.
Summary: I bought the 14.4 impact and driver set after reading a review in fine home building. It ranked number one in all the testing divisions. I figured it was the best money could buy. The first couple months were great.
Summary: Very pleased with this drill. Very precise and easy to control motor. Lots of torque. My only negative comment is the drill is almost too compact. I have very large hands and the grip is almost too small thumb to pinky. Will buy Panasonic again, especially now that I have the batteries.
Summary: This is the first time that I've used a truly precision drilling instrument, and it is a revelation. The fact that the motor has a braking system is very unusual for someone who has never used a drill of this precise before. I was used to having a motor just slow down and eventually stop.
Summary: I'm one of those people who do a lot of research before buying a tool, and this one got glowing reviews from Fine Homebuilding / Taunton Press. There are other, considerably less expensive, drill drivers on the market, but I went with their recommendation and I'm glad I did.
Summary: I have two 18volt DeWalt screwdriver/drills, a 14volt DeWalt screwdriver/drill and a useless electric screwdriver I bought at Costso. This drill outperforms all the DeWalts. It lasts long, screws hard torque screws better and the flashlight is a great bonus - VERY BRIGHT.
Summary: Went into my local professional tool supplier with the full intent of buying a DeWalt 18V lithium ion drill/driver combo. After trying it out, the sale rep suggested I should try out the Panasonic which he felt had a smoother trigger. It was also the one he personally owned. He was right..
