I own 2

DONALYN C., Amazon
15 December 2013
  • Summary: I purchased my first one used over 10 years ago with only 1 good battery and when I dropped it and ruined that one I had a choice of paying like $80 for just a battery or getting another whole kit for $99.00.

Great drill, but batteries are crap

D. Bunker, Amazon
30 June 2012
  • Summary: The title really says it all. The drill has great feel and balance but the batteries started going bad within less than a year of moderate use. Replacement cost for the batteries would have been considerably more than the cost of the entire kit.

Excellent Cordless Drill for the Money

bluefalcon, Amazon
4 October 2011
  • Summary: I've used this drill for over four years and it provides ample power and battery charge for household tasks. The speed and torque settings are great and each battery will last for quite a few jobs and for many weeks on standby. This is the only drill most people will need.

eye opener

don, Amazon
11 August 2010
  • Summary: This is the first non-cord tool I have ever owned and it didn't take long to realize this is a great tool. With the power you can drive a 2" wood screw with no problem. Great tool.

The Best

Harold D. Kobbervig, Amazon
10 April 2010
  • Summary: Simply put, this is probably the best 12 volt cordless drill on the market. It has sufficient torque at all drill speeds to handle most tasks and the clutch allows you to drive anything from #4x1/2" brass screws to long lag bolts.

Love this drill.

Artios, Inc Michael Kranz, Amazon
17 September 2009
  • Summary: This is my second Panasonic 12 volt. I still have my first which I used daily in my cabinet shop. It is now 13 years old and still works well. That is why I bought Panasonic again. It is light weight and perfect for shop use. The batteries stand up reasonably well.

Suprisingly....very good

Jimbob, Amazon
21 July 2009
  • Summary: I purchased this drill based good reviews and it's an excellent drill. I bought it to replace my 15 year old Black and Decker drill, coming with 2 batteries in the package is a big plus. I never have to stop for charging (one is used and the other is fully charged).

Forget it if you need a new charger

Gregory S. Walker "Knuckle Head", Amazon
8 May 2009
  • Summary: AVOID PANASONIC TOOLS. If the charger fails you will be forced to buy an entire new drill kit! It's a good drill, but one year and 10 months into the drills life the charger went pop and Panasonic will only sell a charger/battery combo for $100 plus $20 shipping. That was the cost of the drill!

Panasonic 12v Cordless Screwdriver

Sarah A. Clark, Amazon
9 February 2009
  • Summary: I bought this because of all the excellent reviews of it and am not disappointed. It is much much better than a 14.4v BD that I tried. Very powerful for its size.

Good tool

PJS "woodchipper", Amazon
6 February 2009
  • Summary: I've had one of these for years - bought this one because my batteries died in my old one and it was cheaper to get another (with 2 batteries) than to just buy new batteries. I use it almost everyday and have no complaints - good chuck - no wobble.
