Summary: Powerful little drill. Hubby very pleased with this choice. Son-in-law engineer researched and found this to be the most powerful drill for the $. Do wish I'd purchased a second battery as this bare-tool did not come with one. I knew that when I ordered. A special offer on the drill, charger, and 1 battery was offered at a fair price. Went with that deal, but each piece came from different suppliers. No problems with that, just still need a second battery.
Summary: I am happy with my new drill/driver. It is slightly larger than my old one but it uses the same batteries and still fits in the old case. The LED light stays on a few seconds after the trigger is released and at first I thought it was stuck but no, it is suppose to do that and now I find it handy to get a good look after drilling or driving in a dark place. Fast shipping too.
Summary: I purchased this drill to replace one I've had for 4 or 5 years. The first one died from abuse, that's why I got another just like it. I used the first one under conditions I'm sure it wasn't meant to be used. It was dropped from 5 or 6 feet several times and generally abused by me. Had I not been so hard on it, I'm sure it would have lasted 10 years, a long time for a battery powered drill.
Milwaukee makes the best battery drill on the market.

Summary: I bought this as a replacement. I have had the same drill motor for 3 years. I finally burned it up using a 1 3/8" holesaw through 1/2" steel plate. I bought the same model because it outlasts the comparable DeWalt model that I use on the job. At home, I rebuild motorcycles for my family and friends, so I use this alot. Unfortunately, this particular drill motor has a bad habit of leaving the light on and draining the battery. My old one did not have this problem.
