Please fix this problem

James Court "Take the Highway", Amazon
26 February 2012
  • Summary: As a tool rental tech for Home Depot, I have learned that this wonderful piece of equipment suffers from one major defect. The handle where the switch is located is poorly designed, resulting in constant breakage. This is not only dangerous, but also impedes job completion. Sure, you can return the tool and get another one, but what a waste of time and money. Home Depot completely stands behind their rentals but Makita needs to modify or improve this right now.

good job

contented1, Amazon
4 September 2011
  • Summary: This hammer has been very useful for the project that I'm doing (breaking out a rockwall footing. It weighs about 90 lbs. so it isn't easy to lift, but that's what's needed to break rock and cement. It's electric so no compressor is needed. It was about $200 cheaper than Home Depot and it came with 2 pointed and two wedge chisels as part of the package.

A GREAT BUY, AT A GREAT PRICE

Peter La Scala "P.J.L", Amazon
7 August 2011
  • Summary: This is a great buy, I have used this for a job to remove a swimming pool, removed large rocks as well. My workers used this tool for eight hours a day for 3 months. It is still on the job. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a heavy duty machine, at some 90 lb you need to be strong. I would buy it again.
