Summary: I used this tool to do a deck project at my home. I am very satisfied with its performance and handling. It does seem a bit front heavy that is at the chuck end of the drill. The varible speed of the trigger is very sensitive and somewhat difficult to keep from going faster than anticipated. I highly recomend this product to anyone wanting a corded drill for home repair projects.
Summary: The Hammer Drill gets real hot in short order. I have only used it a couple of times and already it does not sound right. I am waiting for it to "lock-up" the next time I use it. I have a couple of Hitachi compact 18V drills and impact drivers and I really like these units so I bought the hammer drill. Unless I somehow purchased one that was not put together correctly, I would not recommend one to purchase this product.
Summary: This is a light weight very effective tool for hammer drilling. Great value for the money and the 5/8 chuck is a bonus for a small drill. Small but lots of power and one of the best hammer drills I have used in concrete.
Summary: I used this drill to hang cabinets in my basement but I found after drilling several holes that the hammer was not cutting in the cement as well even with new bits. A basement wall is very hard concrete and I would use a much larger drill than this. This drill is good for lite work only but I still use it for normal drilling.
