The drill and batteries hold up but the UC10SFLP battery charger fails
2 weeks ago
Summary: The drill and batteries hold up but the UC10SFLP battery chargers fail. I have had two chargers fail in the couple of years I have owned the system. The first time it was replaced by the repair facility. The second time they told me to get a hold of Hitachi. I have submitted service requests twice with no response. They have no phone numbers to call either. Repair facility told me to drop Hitachi and go with Ridig. They at least have a warranty and stand behind it.
Summary: Bought the product because I have the matching driver. A little under powered but is good for small jobs. Isn't bulky and can get into smaller places. Found extra battery in the clearance bin at Lowes.
Summary: This is the second Hitachi cordless drill purchased this year. Family members liked it so much I had to buy a second identical one. It is light weight yet durable to fit most applications. It has a quick recharge time. We tend to use this drill over other brands because of it size and weight.
Summary: My wife asked for ideas for a birthday present. I told her I could use a smaller style drill. She talked with a sales person and presented me with a DS10DFL driver drill. The sales person steered her in the right direction and I have a drill that suits my needs. I also have a FDS12DVA with some miles on it.
Summary: This drill is better than I thought it would be. Small and easy to get In tight places light weight plenty of power charges fast normally 15 to 20 minutes. The storage case has plenty of room. The only reason I didn't give it a five is the LIGHT, the chuck blocks it from shining on the end of the bit or drill in it either that or something is wrong with the one I have
Summary: I wanted a smaller drill for around the house and this fits the bill. We exclusively use Hitachi drill at the cabinet shop I work at and they are tough and rugged. We put them through the paces installing cabinets. Great product Hitachi makes.
