Summary: I've had this tool for a couple of months, and have used it on a number of projects, including building an outdoor shower, and a garden arbor. The tool has plenty of power, and the battery has pretty good life. I built the whole shower (4 by 6) on one charge.
Summary: I really like the balance and weight of this drill. I've had a Hitachi cordless drill before in a lower voltage and it lasted me 2-3 years with fairly hard usage. After a month this battery charger has burned out. Just contacted Hitachi about a replacement.
Summary: I absolutely love this set. The impact is a real workhorse. Powerful and light weight. I always reach for it to deal with any fastener. Drill is nice, though not overly powerful (I prefer a corded drill for most drill applications where I need a little oomph).

Summary: I have two sets of 18volt lithium ion Makita drill and driver drill. I love them. The Hitachis don't feels as high a quality as the Makitas. That being said, the Hitachi works just as well in every respect. Plus the Hitachi warranty (lifetime) puts the Makita two year to shame.
Summary: Great, great drill. Nice balance, lots of power. Had a 14.4NiCad cordless drill for years until it finally wouldn't hold a charge (I think it was 8 years...). This one is a bit pricier than others but the drill/light/2-batteries combo is absolutely worth every penny and I expect the batteries will...
Summary: Comfortable ergonomics, light weight, excellent power, super bright flashlight included. And phenomenal value at $130. Unless you are using a 2" spade bit in rock maple, or need to be A Real Man, this drill makes far more sense than the super-duty Milwaukee and Dewalt offerings that weigh and cost...
Summary: For usual houses in CA (with wooden walls), it's a great drill, which works reliable and fast. Have not tried to drill into harder surfaces than wood yet. For my purposes (occasional drilling) the battery life is good, I have to recharge it 1-2 a year.
