  • Summary: I have tired this several times and I have yet to get it to work with out assistance from my husband. I want one I can use by myself. I know how. I do a lot of building for a gal.

No Variable Speed

  • Summary: Good quality tool at an excellent price it was intended to replace a small drill in my carry everywhere work bag. Unfortunately, it lacks variable speed trigger a feature I use regularly to start and back out screws, etc. If you can live with instant on this is a great tool, for me that's a deal breaker.

Some good, some not so good.

  • Summary: Bending handle can be a finger-pincher and would be much improved if it locked in position. Location of forward/reverse switch not so convenient when handle in bent position. Claimed 44 inch-pound torque rating sounds high, but I don't think my driver lives up to its rating. Would be nice if one could insert driver bit simply by pushing as opposed to the current need to use two hands. On positive side, the light with independent switch is great.

Good features, but underpowered

  • Summary: The feature which made me buy this tool was the independent switch for the LED. This is a useful feature. I am disappointed in the torque available. Driving large wood screws requires a predrilled hole. I must use a cordless drill to drive these (or a competitor's rinkydink cordless screwdriver!) The price is definitely upscale.
