Summary: I ordered this drill for my husband several years ago and it's still going strong. He loves it and much to my surprise, I do too. It's so simple to operate that a 6 year old child could operate it, not that I'm recommending that a child use it.
Summary: I've owned this drill for a little over two years now and have probably used it three or four times since I bought it. Maybe a minute of drilling max per use. In appearance, the drill can still pass as new. The chuck no longer tightens enough to sufficiently hold the drill bits from turning.
The hardware store looked at another brand new drill of the same model and it also had clear run out/ wobble and was in fact eve

Summary: I will be sending a letter to Dewalt. After purchasing this drill and examining it from above, both with and without a new drill bit inserted it was clear it was operating off axis or had "run-out." This wobble was confirmed by both the hardware store and the local Dewalt Factory Service shop.
Summary: I suppose you can't find a better built 3/8 inch keyless drill than this one but it was as heavy as my 1/2 Milwaukee which I sold to buy this one online thinking it would be a lot lighter. So 5 star if you don't mind the weight and size...but why not just go to a 1/2 inch drill?
Summary: the price on the drill is cheap for a reason, Dewalt has started making this drill in Asia. No longer proudly made in the U.S. I also own the same drill (american made) and the quality of the Asian made drill seems to be on par with the American made.
Summary: Purchased this drill for light weight jobs in my garage and it has plenty of torque. It's a nice drill. I bought this as a backup and I have put it to only limited use since I still have my DeWalt DW93 and tend to reach for it first.
