Summary: this is a good drill. I have slowly moved more toward keyless chucks. they are a lot easier to use and i keep you from fuddling with a key or losing it. Very durable. it also comes with a warranty and the trusted dewalt name.

Summary: I've had this drill a little over 2 yrs and used it for the second time and the chuck stripped the threads out on the spindle output shaft. Must have just been a defect on this one but great drill other than that.
Summary: I've had this drill for 6-7 yrs. I've beat it down with drilling thru all kinds of materials (wood, aluminum, steel), dropped from roofs, spun out of my hands and flown across the room with no complaints. Hands down my favorite drill. No messing with expensive batteries.
