Summary: Great drill - we own other 18v tools that use the same batteries and we love the versatility, utility and power of these tools. This drill is an improvement over my wife's Dewalt 18v drill - the addition of the light is very welcome.
Summary: First real "quality" drill Really impressed with this thing, goes through anything. Multiple settings and modes make it very versatile Case is high quality, XRP batteries much better than the standard 18v dewalt batteries will accept new Lithium Ion batteries However it really should come with a...
Summary: This is the best setup. This is my second one as the batteries died on the first one. Since it was 5 years old I thought I better get a new drill too instead of just batteries. I use it all the time to drill 1/4 and 3/8 anchors in concrete. I drill steel, wood, brick, just about anything.
Summary: I really like my DeWALT kit. I've been using it constantly and am very happy with how long the battery last, the power, the different settings for your jobs, how fast batteries charge. Best buy I've ever made on a power tool, if your looking get this one you'll be happy you did.
Summary: I'm very pleased with this drill. The three speed function, plus being a hammer drill, make it useful for a wide variety of tasks. With respect to my Porter Cable hammer drill, it's somewhat smaller, lighter and easier to handle. In my book, it's an excellent purchase.
Summary: I've had this drill for 2 years now, and it's still running strong. I use it daily for everything from installing stripper poles to fracking my neighbor's backyard, and have had absolutely no problems.

Summary: I have used DeWalt cordless tools for a long time now. Qaulity is alway great. The price can be high at times but you do get what you pay for. If you only have light casual needs then the price might not be right for you but if you use your tools and are hard on them, then the money is worth it.
Summary: Lots of torque from this baby and the multiple speeds available allow one to fine tune the speed to the need. I particularly like the metal chuck. This seems small, but it sure beats grinding the plastic type chuck into black dust.
