Xtreme Sports

Xtreme Sports is an extreme sports simulation video game developed by Innerloop and published by Atari. It was released on November 27, 2000. It is rated as E (Everyone) by ESRB.

Features

Xtreme Sports features six kinds of different extreme sports including ATV driving, snowboarding, mountain biking, bungee jumping, sky surfing, and speed gliding. In each of the game's three championship brackets, player will ride ATVs, glide the friendly skies, leap from bungee platforms, slide down steep slopes, and pedal all the way to the finish line. To complete one bracket and move to the next, player has to take the gold in three or four competitions spanning a variety of worldly locales. If successful, player enables access to 11 different base tracks and five additional bonus tracks that range from the heights of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Himalayas to the confines of Maui, Stryn, and Scotland. If the player stumbles, the game's practice, single track, and two-player versus modes should keep the player occupied until the player is able to overcome the three CPU-controlled opponents. As for the control, it requires the analogue pad steers, the R trigger controls acceleration, the A button makes the character jump, the X button unleashes a turbo boost, and the Y or B buttons perform blocking and tricks. Also, the game offers three other events namely sky surfing, speed gliding, and bungee jumping.
