Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2

  • Excerpt: Sometimes you sit for hours and words won’t come out. You’ll type up drivel over and over again, the same crap reworded six or seven different ways, all of it saying the same thing but sucking more and more and more than it did the last time. Right now, this is one of those times. I don’t know what to say. I’m trying to write a review for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 for the Dreamcast.

  • Excerpt: Activision and Neversoft were thinking of the power of the Xbox, when recreating the game for Xbox fans. However, they haven't really expanded on the THPS formula. In otherwords, the THPS world has not been improved in any way.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2

The Next Level

  • Excerpt: While the GBA only sports four buttons in total, this clearly does not hinder the gameplay at all. You use the L and R triggers to execute flip and grab moves, while the B and A buttons are assigned for jumping and grinding respectively. Of course, you can always change this if you're uncomfortable with it, but I found that the layout was really intuitive and easy to use.

  • Excerpt: The world’s best skateboarding game just got better. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, sequel to the one of the PlayStation’s all time best selling video games, is a virtual extreme sport extravaganza boasting more pro skaters (plus Spider-Man!), larger levels, more levels, more riff raunchy music, more objectives, more ludicrously improbable death defying tricks and stunts, more vivid skull-smacking/blood-spurting crashes and more of the all-around impeccable gameplay for which...
