Summary: So far pretty good. I like it because I love all superhero games, really. I would say it probably has better gameplay mechanics than the 2 movie-based games, but it doesn't give the movie feel, which I love. Still from what I've played so far, a good overall game.
Summary: Probably the best Spiderman game. The graphics are good and the gameplay is smooth. The boss battles are good as well but they can get annoying. My main problem with the game is that there is to many chase mission where you have to chase the boss before you fight them it sucks but it's worth it. Overall I rate the game 4/5 it's a must buy.
Summary: Spider-man the movie for the Xbox Spider-man the movie for the Xbox is properly described as one of the top ten best superhero games of the century. The reason behind this is a story based on a blockbuster movie, excellent gameplay, outstanding graphics (for a 2002 game anyway), and good voice acting from Tobey Maguire and Willem Dafoe. The gameplay is a spider-fan's dream.
Summary: Hard hitting comic book graphics, with ultimate new characters and cool new bad guys. Pros ~ Awesome Combos, Costumes, Challenging(to some), Comicbook graphics ...... Con ~ Have to web the bad guys down to deafeat them, too many hard races, Jumping sucks, Web Swing is altered from Spiderman 2, Sound suck,Death is too easy to happen Still fun for the kiddies(^_^)~~~~~(XoX)/
Summary: The good: The gameplay was a lot of fun and still is, even after I beat the main story. The environment gives a lot of room to go exploring and finding all of the hidden tokens (there are a lot of them) is a fun diversion if/when you want to take a break from the storyline. I liked Spider-man's fighting style, and rewarding the player for evenly distributing the pain among a group of enemies introduced a bit of flair and strategy into the fights instead of simply trading...
Summary: I thought the first two 3D Spiderman games were ok but needed some serious improvements. Although this latest version is not perfect I think they have gotten pretty close to making the Ultimate Spiderman Game. Graphics- 9/10 - The cell shaded look of the game is done well and gives ther feeling that you are playing inside of a comic book world. The framerate is smooth and the story cutscenes look great.
Summary: I agree with some of the previous reviews, the game is too short. But as a bonus, there are countless side missions and things to find in this ENORMOUS enviornment. The game presents the big parts of New York City on a massive scale. And guess what? All of it is accessible. If I had to pick the most accessible game out right now this would be second ONLY to Godfather. Better than GTA and any other hero adventure game.
