Summary: I bought the game because it was an RPG that I had not finished on the Xbox console. I believe it's great, however, because the game is older, the graphics aren't as good. But it's still great.
Summary: Its been so long i haven't played this game, i just remember the main character Ryo and the action scenes where good, just need play it again, i'm older and maybe i will understand the game better, and judge it for what its worth...
Summary: I like this game because you can interact with people. You are in Hong Kong trying to navigate through the city to do different activities. When you talk to people to try to figure out how to get somewhere, they will take you where you want to go, but they walk extremely slow. So, you must have patience. I like that you can get different jobs to make extra money. It definitely takes some getting used to, but that's all part of the fun of the game.
Summary: Shenmue II is a great last generation game that has a martial arts theme and great storyline. In the begining of the game things may be unclear to the player who never played the first instalment of the game. Your character is seaching for the killer of his father and seeks answers in Hong Kong. I only rated this game good and not excellent because it is an older game and not up to todays standards of visual graphics.
Summary: For what Shenmue offers,it's one of the best titles of its time.Available for the Sega Dreamcast, this game puts you in the shoes of a young man named Ryo.Attempting avenge the death of his father, who died at the hands of a mysterious Chinese man. For newer gamers,it would be easy to bypass this game as an interesting quirk on a lost system. For those in the "know",they see this game for exactly what it is. A forerunner to all open ended games to come.
Summary: Shenmue 2 is an rpg of a different kind. Instead of using swords and magic, you'll be using lips and feet(for walking that is). Joking. Shenmue 2 is a sequel to the first on the dreamcast. (the what?) It continues the story of Ryo (who you play as) as he continues to seek his father's murder. He now sets of in Hong Kong and has some interesting encounters with a kid, a lady on a bike, and many annoying looking chinese con artists.
Summary: Shenmue 2 has alot going for it, but it may not be right for every player. The game play is fairly slow, but utimatly rewarding. Shenmue 2 is a cross between many different game styles. It is basically an adventure/detective game with elements of an rpg and a fighting game. Your charachter, Ryo, is a 20 somthing year old Japanese martial artist whose objective is to find the killer of his father. He must find clues by questioning people.
