  • Summary: Shenmue 2 is an rpg of a different kind. Instead of using swords and magic, you'll be using lips and feet(for walking that is). Joking. Shenmue 2 is a sequel to the first on the dreamcast. (the what?) It continues the story of Ryo (who you play as) as he continues to seek his father's murder.

  • Summary: This game is not Grand Theft Auto. That is why most people don't play it for very long. They can't just go clobber some innocent by stander. This game is super cheap now so go get it and just let it emerse you into this giant world that Yu Suzuki has put together.

  • Summary: This game is very deep in story just like the last one on dreamcast. The major thing is the world is ten times bigger and the game is longer. The combat system is fun and the QTE is a great addition to the game.

  • Summary: This is the greatest game on the xbox, epic story of twists, mini games to challenge your mind, and just plain fun. The sound could have been a bit better, but other than that, one of the best overall games out there!

  • Excerpt: I think I first knew of Shenmue in about 2004, that was when I got a dreamcast. I had bought the old console from a local pawnshop, really cheap, with a few games like Quake III Arena and Virtua Fighter, decent games in their own right(especially Q3A) however I felt I needed something deeper.
  • Pros: Everything stated
  • Cons: Can't think of any .

  • Pros: Great graphics, storyline, exploration system, characters, freedom given
  • Cons: Slightly clumsy or robotic controls

  • Excerpt: What can I say, I first played this game while the Dreamcast was still going strong about 5 years ago, and I still love this game now. It's an excellent example of why the dreamcast should not have retired.
  • Pros: The graphics, the freedom, the storyline
  • Cons: The length of the game
