Excerpt: With me being a major basketball fan, I know what I'm talkin' about. And really this game is too good for words, its really that good. Anyhow if you're a big NBA fan like me prepare to pick your jaw up off the floor cos this game is make you wonder how good the dreamcast actually is. The graphics in it are awesome and no other NBA game comes no where near close in matching this little gem. The little things such as the intro for each game (the lights off etc.
Pros: True realism, suck on this EA
Cons: if you complete it too early you may find trouble wanting to go back to it again
Excerpt: NBA 2K was the best Sega Sports title out on Dreamcast in Europe until the mighty Virtua Tennis was released. The graphics are amazing: each player looks as though they are REAL and the movement and speed is just brilliant. NBA 2K is the best Basketball title in the world at the moment, really is a great game to play. The controls are easy enough to learn, and there are many different game modes to play, including Play offs, quick start, exhibition and Season.
Excerpt: Although NBA games and BasketBall games in general are nothing new, this game really drags you in. The graphic at 60fps are stunning and really do a great job of showing those great close-up moments when you slam dunk right in front of your opponent's face. Even the shine on the polished court is there. The sound is just right although after a while you will notice that the commentary does not necessarily go with the action!
Excerpt: This an amazing game in a long line of top notch Sega Sports games. I think NBA 2K is one of Sega's finest sports games, although NFL 2K is supposed to be awesome. The graphics are amazing and the player detail and movements are incredible. With all the official teams and stadiums, not to mention a great amount of modes and cheats - to make the game even better.
Excerpt: Wow! Never has basketball looked so real! Before you've even picked up the controller to start playing, you are taken away by the awesome graphical detail of this game. The graphics of the players, court and crowd are truely phenomenal and lifelike! Never has basketball felt so real! After you've picked up the controller and played a few minutes of this game, you are taken away into another world, where you are on court playing a high pace basket to basket NBA game.
Pros: The best basketball around .
Cons: For the purist, it is too easy to score with ridiculously high point games . Also can become a tad easy .
Excerpt: NBA 2K is a classy sports sim with solid gameplay and realistic animation, placing much more emphasis in being a good simulation than previous basketball games. All thirty three teams in the NBA are included with each player carefully renderedto look like their real life counterpart. There are plenty of high quality FMV sequences and the gameplays spot on, rolling along at a frenatic pace and keeping your attention right the way through.
Excerpt: Played it last night and it looks great. It seems to play pretty well, hard to say until you play more than a few games where the weakness's lie with the AI. Great control, you can actually back your man down in the paint, and then throw up a hook or try a spin move around your man to the basket, sort of like Sean Kemp when he was 50 lbs lighter. Shooting seems fairly easy to pick up on, and the shooters seem to hit and miss with at a fairly realistic percentage.
Summary: Y tras aquello escribo.
