Summary: MDK2 Armageddon is simply one of the best games I've ever played. It is getting along in age now, so I sold it ! Mistake ! It beats the hell out of EA Pacific Rising or whatever, much better than Star Wars Battlefront, Splinter Cell, Quake 3 (that REALLY SUCKED !
Summary: The game is just too odd and the boss difficulty varies per stage. What kills this game is the levels you play the dumb scientist. The sound is average along with almost everything else. Rent it first before you buy it.
Summary: The game is amazingly fun and filled with wit and creativity. Each of the teammates has a different set of strengths, so you must adapt not only to the different environments, but also to your character' abilities. For instance, Max is a run and gun type of guy.
Summary: This game has a great sense of humor. The graphics can be amazing at times and other times not so good. Control takes some getting used to but shouldn't be too much of a problem. Some of the levels can be very difficult while others too easy.
Summary: MDK2 isn't really that new. It has just been ported from the dreamcast. That's all. It's a really fun game though. You play as either Kurt, a janitor in this suit thingie, Max, a four-armed dog, and Dr. Hawkins.
Excerpt: I managed to get MDK2 for the Dreamcast for £29.99 from Gameplay.com shortly after it’s release. When it arrived shortly after ordering (my free copy of online game Chu Chu Rocket also arrived from Sega the same day) I opened the cardboard packaging to find a glossy sealed…shattered case.
Excerpt: MDK 2 is all about humor! This game made me laugh so hard; I just loved the funny cutscenes in between levels! The overall game is funny as well, and I guess this takes away some of the frustration of this games difficulty level!
Excerpt: MDK 2 is without a doubt a quality game ,offering excellent visuals, great character design and tiemless gameplay. The game is a curious mix as the three chcaracters you play as all use different techniques to progress, though I guess it is a shoot'em up at heart.
Excerpt: You want freaky, comical and defiantly different? Look no further than MDK 2, a hotbed of cool ideas, odd characters and otherworldly visuals. The first MDK was a PC rather than Dremcast game, but that doesn't matter a bit.
Excerpt: MDK 2 is here now, and this triumphant trio return to save the world from aliens once again. The Doc discovers them first from his orbiting spaceship, The Jim Dandy. Quickly he dispatches his janitor, Kurt, to fight the new menace. Fortunately, Kurt has more than a mop and scrub brush to aid him.
Pros: fast, furious gameplay with fun overtones
Cons: a little easy . uses speed as a cover for the slightly low difficulty curve .
