HonestGamers
30 March 2015
  • Excerpt: Let's face it; in today's library of games, for any platform, rarely do we get a title that no one has ever seen before, one so completely original and innovative that the newcomer does not even take notice of its greatness. Jet Grind Radio, though, is one such title.

Review : Jet Grind Radio for Dreamcast

8Bitjoystick.com
12 March 2004
  • Conclusion: Jet Grind Radio Future was probably the main reason why I got an Xbox in the first place and not having the Xbox makes me miss it. Every Video game expo that goes by I hope that Sega will announce another sequel or at least games that were inspired by Jet Set Radio.

The Armchair Empire

  • Conclusion: Unfortunately the games audio doesn’t hold up as well as its visuals. While the sound effects and voice work are quite acceptable, the music is very repetitive. It doesn’t take long for the songs to become irritating during the course of a level, making the use of one’s stereo a must.

Jet Grind Radio – Second Opinion

GameCritics.com
25 July 1996
  • Excerpt: For all you see and hear, Jet Grind Radio is possibly the coolest game ever made. The art direction for the game is amazing and hits that narrow target of hip that other games miss—almost everything you see and hear melts your heart with an effortless style.
