Gunbird 2

Game Revolution
1 December 2000
  • Excerpt: Old school scroll. Capcom covers a wide range of game genres. From puzzle games to fighters to adventure games, they seem to run the gamut. Their latest action title, Gunbird 2 , is a decent throwback to the late 80's when vertical shooters ruled the arcade scene. It features seven characters, seven stages, and THOUSANDS of bullets along with hours of pattern learning madness.
  • Pros: Old-School Arcade Feel, Clean graphics, Great arcade sound, Few rewards..., For such a HARD game, Limited depth

Gunbird 2

Shin Force
26 May 2000
  • Excerpt: > Yes, I do still like 2D shooters after all these years.  Psikyo's latest rendition, converted by Capcom, of this classic genre is called Gunbird 2.  It's kind of a mixture of Vapor Trail (Genesis) and Sengoku Blaede (Saturn, also by Psikyo).  You control a flying human, instead of an aircraft, in a vertical scrolling tour de force.  Obviously, the object is to blast everything into oblivion.

Gunbird 2 (jap.)

4 December 2003
