Excerpt: F1 World Grand Prix For Dreamcast This formula 1 racing game follows the 1998 racing season. Therefore, all the 11 teams and 22 drivers are set out as they were in that year. At the time of the game’s creation, the Williams team did not have two drivers, so one of the drivers for the Williams team is listed as, “Williams Driver.
Excerpt: F1 World Grand Prix is by far the best F1 game available, The cars and drivers are fictional, however all of the tracks are real except they are not called by their actual names (except Monaco), they instead go by their country locations. The Dreamcast version seems more polished and it even looks better than it's counterpart on PC. I do not think i have ever been more addicted to a racing game.
Excerpt: This F1 game is a fair effort, and boasts full official FIA status - but who cares, the game is, although not awful, pretty boring. With incredibly hard controls and limited modes the game lost appeal right from the start for me. So the graphics look ok, better than anything on the N64, but the game feels so - dull. I completed the championship in a few days, but then found very little point in keeping the game, why should I bother with it?
Excerpt: F1 world grand prix for the dreamcast is, as the name suggests, a racing game based on the f1 teams and racers of the 1999 season. The controls, as in every f1 game, are a pain to control because you have to break about 200 yards before each corner. Compered to Monaco, F1 world grand prix for the dreamcast is a very well made and good game. It is not perfect, (It is a bit slow and a bit hard at first), but it is a very good game. Well worth buying.
Excerpt: BURN RUBBER WITH THE PROS. Now is your chance to re-live moments of Grand Prix glory and change history! F1 World Grand Prix takes you to actual rounds of the '98 Grand Prix races -- complete with the weather of the day -- and allows you a shot at the championship. The cockpit is 3D with 2 virtual views, and to make your experience even more realistic, the racecars sustain damage when they crash into a wall or opponent.
Excerpt: Video System's F1 World Grand Prix brings alive wonderful racing. The environment is extremely detailed: Cars have the appropriate sponsorship logos, fans are cheering in the stands, and Tag Heuer is keeping official time. Ferrari, McLaren, and Williams are all involved in this game. Graphical detail is also packed into F1. Run over the grass and it'll get stuck in your tires.
Excerpt: This game is one of the only games that dosnt live up to its expectations! Dont get me wrong Its a pretty good game the graphics and all that are sound. The thing that spoils it a bit is the horrable handeling! The difficulty of the game is also one of the factors that spoil it the rest is top! The commentry is good and all of the courses are brilliant. Some people out there probebly like the game but for me and many others the game is just to difficult!
Excerpt: Every console needs a formula one racing game if the charts are anything to go by, as they always seem to occupy the number one slot for weeks. this game has great graphics and decent gameplay but once you win the championship I cant see you coming back to play it too often. So not a great game but it is the best formula one game on the dreamcast , much better than Monaco Grand Prix which surprisingly has sold more copies ( whats wrong with you people).
