    • Finally, all you ECW fans have a videogame to play.
    • It's the same as WWF Attitude, only with no-name wrestlers. Still has the same horrible graphics, poor production, clunky controls, etc.

    Many WWF fans mourned when they found out that Acclaim had lost the rights to produce WWF video games. WWF Attitude was rushed into the shops to maximize selling revenue before THQ took over the license. However, wrestling fans need not mourn any more because another game is being churned from the Acclaim stable. Read more

ECW Hardcore Revolution is a professional wrestling video game developed by Acclaim Studios and published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was created based on the professional wrestling promotion Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). It enables both single player and multiplayer modes. It is rated as M (Mature) by ESRB and E (Everyone) by GBC. It was released on February 29, 2000.

Features

ECW Hardcore Revolution features a balanced game play system of grappling and reversals. It features over 50 ECW wrestlers. Besides that, it also features Arena Environment and new wrestler entrances featuring individual special effects and music. In addition, it also allows players to select and save players own set of moves. Not only just fighting in the ring, the game also allows players to fight in the aisle on the way back to the dressing room. In terms of display, it features photo realistic polygonal wrestlers with real-life faces and 3D environments. Furthermore, it also features create a wrestler with loads of options including gender, strength, endurance, costume, body type, entrances and taunts. Motion captured manoeuvres by the premiere ECW wrestlers. There are more than 150 new moves including signature moves for each wrestler with trademark finishing moves and multiple taunts unique to each wrestler. Plus, it also allows players to fight with weapons including chairs, tables, TV monitors and more. There is multiple camera angles featured as well. ECW wrestlers featured in this game include Sabu, Balls Mahoney, Axl Rotten, Spike Dudley, Big Sal and Jerry Lynn.
