Excerpt: This is a great Beat em up game, it is like Tekken, but I think it is better, it dont have the powder... This game is about a story of revenge, to make their destiny come true. To make all means of fighting to go away. There are many characters, and 2 to unlock, I have only Unlocked one, but I know what the other one was... Later in the review I will tell youhow to get them. Ill also give info about the characters and loads of other stuff as well.
Excerpt: This is a fantastic game if you're a teenage boy. Like to unlock secrets so you can see the sexy chick naked for a few seconds? Like your breasts big and bouncy? Like your girls in bondage gear and schoolgirl outfits? Get DOA2. Otherwise, get DOA2 anyway. For all its male-marketed faults, it's a great game. There are a host of characters, seven play modes, loads of costumes to unlock, and hundreds of moves to learn.
Excerpt: This is the first game I got for my new dreamcast (£35 for the dc), and it was my return to consoles. Lets say I was a "bit" impressed. GAME CONTENT A good range of characters, with the usual differences (size, power speed etc). Includes a training mode, vs, tag, team battles, story and survival. So theres lots to do, with the comleation of tasks earning you extra costumes.
Excerpt: Dead Or Alive 2's graphics look quite good although not as detailed as Tekken's. Then you notice just how much is going on and get more impressed as you play. The major difference between the two games is that in DOA2 you are also able to damage part of the background scenery, jump down floors, etc. The inclusion of this in Tekken TT would have further still improved upon this excellent game. DOA2 wins hands down when it comes to the environments you fight in.
Excerpt: I loved Soul Calibur and still do and I don't think I will ever find a game to rival it. But having said that this game comes close. Dead or Alive 2 was a bit of a benchmark. It was the first game to appear on both PS2 and DC and of course many comparisons have been made. I have played it on both consoles and can say the PS2 version is slightly better, but only slightly.
Excerpt: i can tell you , its a great fighting game.if youve played the legacy of kain, this will actually makes you wonder, if there a lot of company actually producing this kind of game concept.Graphically, DC owners, inc me, are just wishing when they say its the same graphics or better on dc, there a hairs width apart, as PS2 version was ported from dc/Naomi, the cut scene's I always skip, so 60fps or not, dc is 30 fps, doesn't fuss me, what dc version did to to mess it up...
Pros: the graphics . . . its damn fantastic . . . but i meant on ps2 . . . not dc(bear in mind)
Excerpt: This opinion is taken from my own review of Dead or Alive 2, which is posted on my site www.dreamcastsource.co.uk It’s not all boobs and babes this time round, although the latter does still play a significant role in the game. Dead or Alive 2 is a 3D beat em up. It’s not quite your average 3D beat 'em up though; Dead or Alive 2 shines through the genre like a diamond in a sandstorm.
Pros: Awesome graphics, lots of modes, 4 player tag battles !
Excerpt: Dead or Alive 2 is a fantastic fighting game, that manages to offer gamers a deeper level of game play than you might have thought at first. In my view it isn’t as good as Soul Calibur, but then nothing is – Dead or Alive 2 claims the honourable place as the second best Dreamcast fighting game, and that is something to be proud of!
Excerpt: Dead or Alive 2 is the Best eva BEat em up of all times it has loads of chararcters to choose from and it even haz a tag battle like tekken tag tournament its good in every respect u kan kick and punch people through windows and even of high buildings there are eight characters to choose from each havin loads of different moves to use on your oppenment!
Excerpt: This game is an improvement in almost every way on the origional with improved graphics sound and gamplay. The fighting arenas have been made bigger now with several levels that fighters can hit their opponents off. the characters have remained the same with some replacements and some new ones. The graphics are excellent with the charactes looking totally rounded and even their fingers being rendered in 3D.
