In addition, it also maintain the requirement to performing outrageous stunts such as Crazy Through, near misses other vehicles; and Crazy Drift, barely controlled skidding; and also adding Crazy Hop, which allows the player to jump over certain surfaces to save time. There are several background sound featured including modified soundtrack from The Offspring and Methods of Mayhem. Furthermore, it also features an internet-based highscore board, and replay ability.

Crazy Taxi Company has picked up shop and relocated to New York City. However, other than heading for the east coast and replacing the four drivers from the original, Crazy Taxi 2 does little to differentiate itself. The two new levels are “Around Apple” and “Small Apple” and both maps work well with the classic arcade gameplay. People are always going to the most unpredictable places, which is one of the funnier things about Crazy Taxi - like when a cheerleader... Read more
The Crazy Taxi series expands with some interesting features in this sequel. The Crazy Hop takes awhile to put to full use, and even then seems an under-utilized maneuver — but carrying groups of passengers is a fun alternative to the solo customer. CT2 removes some of the fun elements from the original while adding new ones. Why didn't they just combine the best of both worlds? Now there's a crazy thought! Read more
Given how Crazy Taxi 2 isn't really much of an advancement, technologically or otherwise, on the original game, it's difficult to recommend unless you saw it for a few quid (which, 8 years on, is now quite a distinct possibility), but it's still a damn fun outing that somehow makes a taxi simulator game incredibly fun! You're essentially time-restricted, with the challenge being to pick up as many fares and make as much money as possible! Of course, there's the... Read more
