Sega's answer to Mario Party, best played with friends
24 February 2014
Summary: This game has yet to receive a home console port outside of the Dreamcast (although being ported to a few portable platforms), and it's truly a shame that it hasn't, as this is probably one of the best 4 player games available for the system. For those that have not seen gameplay footage, it can be described very simply as "place arrows on board, catch mice in rocket using arrows, avoid cats".
Summary: A puzzle game created by the people that made the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Can be played up to 4 players either against each other or in teams. Two players can help each other with the stage challenges. Puzzles were created to test your brain and see if you can go through all four difficulty levels. You can even create your own puzzles! There is an option to play online, but with the servers down it's useless; I wish I had the Dreamcast back in 1999...
Summary: I bought this game because I was feeling pretty nostalgic for old-school games for an obsolete system. The game is as fun as when I played it when I was younger. Very easy controls, easy learning curve as the missions get more difficult. Chu Chu Rocket came in a standard Dreamcast case along with instructions and the game played just fine.
Summary: First installment of the series and prequel to the game boy advance game, Chu Chu Rocket is an original puzzle game. The style of play ressembles the old Lemmings games. The mindbending puzzles require a lot of concentration, but the cheerful graphics and sound as well as the cat and mouse analogy lighten up this game for a good feel.
Summary: This game is wonderful. I got it because my girlfriend told me very enthusiastically about it. I was a little apprehensive at first, but since I love puzzle games, I decided I'd give it a shot. Let me just say, I am tremendously glad I did. It is very challenging, which can almost get a little annoying, but as long as you can remain patient with it, it is loads of fun. It's even more fun in the various multiplayer modes.
Summary: Finally a game for all kinds of people! One can choose to go with the addictive fast multiplayer mode or the slower paced puzzle mode. There are over 2,500 puzzles to do so this game will last you quite a long time. You can also create your own characters and puzzles, So that will definately add to the lastibility. This game will keep you entertained for many months and maybe more. I highly reccomend it, even if you've played it on Dreamcast.
